What is Microcurrent Electrical Therapy?
Microcurrent electrical therapy operates using extremely low-level electrical currents in the microampere range, which is 1,000 times less intense than transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy. These currents work below the threshold of sensation and focus on longer pulse widths—approximately 0.5 seconds—creating a treatment that is gentler yet highly effective. Unlike TENS therapy, MET often relies on handheld probes that pinpoint the affected area. Patients typically see significant improvements after 10 or fewer short treatments, and some experience residual benefits lasting from 8 hours to several weeks (Electromedicine Journal, 2021).
The application of electricity in healthcare dates back more than 150 years, specifically in treating non-union bone fractures. While approaches like electrotherapy and nutrition fell out of mainstream medical practice in the early 20th century, they’re seeing a resurgence today. For example, microcurrent electrical therapy (MET) has emerged as a powerful tool for addressing pain-related disorders. MET offers rapid symptom relief, promotes healing, and demonstrates fewer side effects when compared to traditional medications for chronic conditions. Its effectiveness can often be confirmed within minutes during a clinical session.
Dr. Roger Billica, a leading researcher in microcurrents, explains, "Microcurrent therapy is designed not just to mask symptoms but to restore natural cellular function, which is crucial in chronic pain management" (Billica, 2018).
- Ionic Foot Bath Treatments $44 for a 1 hr. session
Ionic foot baths are spa treatments that use an electrical current in water to create ionized fields, aiming to draw toxins, heavy metals, and "cellular debris" from the body through the feet. It helps to alkaline the body as well suffocating disease.
Alimtox machine's gentle detox system uses positively charged ions to neutralize harmful toxins, promoting easy elimination from the body.
These toxins are released 95% through sweat and urination, continuing detoxification even after your foot bath, and 5% through the 2000 pores at the bottom of your feet.
- Silver Pulsing Treatments $28 for 45 min. session
The SOTA Silver Pulser is a 2-in-1 device designed to support health by producing ionic-colloidal silver and delivering gentle microcurrents to the body. It aims to boost energy, enhance well-being, and provide antimicrobial effects using, ionic colloidal silver made with 99.99% pure silver wires.
Micropulsing delivers gentle, low-voltage electricity (microcurrents) to the body, applied via the wrist, designed to support natural energy levels and overall well-being.
It helps clean the blood of pathogens as well.
- Copper Zapper Pulsing Treatments $28 for 45 mins.
According to Dr. Clark’s theories, plate zapping is an ideal way to capture and transfer subtle signature frequencies from the item you place on the plates. She explained that the Zapper provides the carrier on which these signature frequencies rides on.
The zapper will emit a low frequency of waves (i.e. electrical current) into the users’ body, which you won’t feel. This current stimulates the white blood cells and introduces negative ions through the skin and into the body. Parasites and diseased tissues are positively charged. The zapper can kill them by reversing their polarity while healing delicate tissue. Throughout a minimum of three treatments, worms viruses, bacteria and fungi will be destroyed.
- Lymphatic Pump Session $12 for 15 mins.
Manual lymphatic pump techniques reduce swelling, alleviate pain, and speed healing by manually stimulating lymph fluid flow, removing metabolic waste, and calming the nervous system. It acts as a therapeutic tool for treating lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, and sports injuries.
Lymphatic pumps enhance blood and lymph circulation, aiding in healing and reducing pain. It also increases mobility by reducing volume and tightness in limbs allowing one to often experience a greater range of motion and improved mobility.
Lymphatic drainage is beneficial for pre and post surgery. Regular use can prevent the recurrence of fluid accumulation and lower the risk of infection, such as cellulitis; aids in addressing swelling associated with venous conditions.
Certain techniques are believed to assist in flushing toxins, bacteria, and wastes from interstitial fluid, potentially aiding immune function.
Add on to any other service for only $8
Lymphatic pumps should typically be avoided in cases of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), congestive heart failure, or active, severe infections like cellulitis.
